Of Much Confusion and Pain..

Dear readers,

Boy boy, I surely have abandon my blog. Its so hard these days to update. Its like I have something to write but i always feel it ain't worthy of you readers to read. I just don't want to write another post that'll bore or cause disinterest towards my blog but yet I want to share with you people. But heck it, I'm writting anyway.

I've realised most of my post are just sulky, depressing, confused and confusing. Well, maybe its just me growing up but I just can't help myself and my mind from wondering into these depressing thoughts. Things have been tough and hard on me. Apart from the obvious stress from SPM which is 4 months away, spiritually, I'm dying, physically, I'm growing fat, and mentally, I'm going cuckoo. One fine afternoon I decided to go for my CF out of obligation because I am the Form 5 representative. Yes, OBLIGATION. I am guilty of it but it turns out to be that God has a reason for everything. I was really for the Cell CF Meeting. I decided to join the Word cell where Pn. Julie would share. I shan't write down what was shared that afternoon out of pity to my readers, but all in all I was moved and convicted. I went up to Pn. Julie afterwards and just appreciated her for her moving sharing and she offered a prayer. As soon as we got to sit, I started crying a river. I felt such a burden and weight on my back. I had reached the limit.

You know limits. A breach that shouldn't be crossed. A line between fine and NOT fine. After that encounter with Pn. Julie it seemed things have improved. For one whole week things were moving along well. Till the next Friday night. A certain play by the FootStool Productions were putting up a play in my church that evening entitled "Runaway Bride". Once again I was clubbed with guilt and questions to whether should I continue on living in the sin I am in. You see, I was watching Oprah this afternoon and I caught something from this 60 minute talk show.

"Getting out of a old lifestyle or bad habit or addiction is not hard, really, Not at all BUT making the decision to get out of it IS"

Truly, I can testify to this claim. But have I made the decision yet? Nope. I just ain't ready. But to that, strings are attached to this decision. I am also carrying hurts, pain and confusion along with it. But why do we human kind just can't take the easy way out and make life easier?

There goes John with another one of those post. Aren't you fed up with all these confusing and half told stories of this pethetic old faggot? As long as I don't immerse myself in freedom, I will continue writing these kind of post and messages.

ANYWAY

Stuff has been happening. Watched Germany and Argentina with my buddies on Friday night, celebrated Yee En's birthday at his place with a barbeque on Saturday and went to DJ for their Prefects Installation. The next few Saturdays will be packed. I'm fully booked every shitty Saturday of July till early August. When will I ever wake up of this nightmare! Oh, SPM SPM SPM... Sudah Pasti Mati, Sudah Pasti Mampus, Sick Pussy Maggot, Shit! Pregnant Meh?!... Arghhh... Hahahaha... Why are you so bitter John!...

Oh but before I leave,
I must write,
Dear Yee En,
Thanx for everytime You've been around. I know I have touched you in places I shouldn't have, but don't worry I wasn't that small. Hahahaha.. You've been an awesome friend through the years. You have such capability to turn frowns into smiles and sorrow to joy. I see so much potential in you to expand your horizons to reach to people and lead. The world definately needs more people like you to light up this lil planet in the universe. It has been a pleasure to have known you through the course of time. I will and I truly cherrish the friendship we have. Love ya Bro Ernie.

Yours truly,

Of Hardwork!..

Boo!!

Whoa, its been long since I wrote down here. Here goes.. First week of school after the hols is over. Time really fly when you are busy. Back to routines. Results are all back. Ok, to say I didn't do too well is not fair cause my percentage certainly improved but everyone improved tremendously too. Seriously. Mad class. One thing I am so glad about is like my classmates are so determined to do well with an exception of some, e.g. Sarak. Wahaha!.. Jk Jk. But you can certainly feel the vibes of hardwork and determination even as SPM creeps towards us. I can certainly say the quality of students in Bunga Raya is phenomenal. I really thought the students in Wendy's year were fantastic but now I can say the students in MY year is so much better. Wahahahah!!... Ish, anyway, hahaha.. I'm glad for my class la. You rock!!! :P Will try to post some pics of them here when I can.

Meanwhile, everything is alright with me. Still the same John that is struggling to juggle with his time and commitments. Oh by the way, DID YOU KNOW, Ms. Haruka Yamashita is staying over from the 11th August till19th August!!.. YES, you got it right, an exchange JAPANESE FEMALE student! Wakakakaka.. I'm so excited! I can't wait for my turn! I'm really looking forward to spending my December, Christmas and New Year's there! Its gonna be an experience of a lifetime. Though I will miss prom and probably some year end outing with my friends, I guess Japan and probably a new iPod will cover the grief.

Enough of me, now how about You? ;)

Measure of a Man..

Ok, for you perverts out there, nope its not the measure of your manlihood. But what is the measure of a man? What is the measure when one turns into a Man. Times have changed and I have been really feeling certain pressures in my life. Yes, what so special? Everyone too has been feeling the same. But let's just put it this way that I'm not handling it too well. Of all years, it has to happen this year. Questions I have been asking myself, questions I have been asking God, questions I have been asked, questions I want to ask, answers I want to know.

I have been a lie, I have been a fake, I have been putting a mask, a mask of which no one has ever seen through. It hurts me to lie to everyone around me, to smile everyday knowing deep down a frown is rooted in my heart. How has this got to me you ask? SIN. Thats the only answer. Sin that is repeated over and over again. Sin that has been always creeping around the corners. Sin that has not been gotten rid of. Sometimes I ponder, is God really trying to help me at this stage I am. Probably He is gracious enough to allow me to choose my path at this point. He is allowing me to think back on all I have done, on all I have said and really make a choice, whether I am for Him or not. But you know what, I'm Not sure.

How is it possible for one as such as me to really be shaken? Yes, it is possible. I've said, I'm not what I appear to be. But we're barely scratching the surface. Butterflies are free to fly, but how'd I wished I'd be able to free myself and fly away now. Is there just some place far away, away from it all that I can run away from to get away from this mess. I've got myself in this situation where not only I compromised my faith, but all I believe in and my stands, my character is all being waivered. It has to stop. But I'm helpless. I feel as if God has turned His face away. But yet I know He wouldn't but somehow I can't believe it. Its funny I have all the answers and solutions but yet I refuse to act on it.

Do you believe the saying that You are what You are INSIDE? That is, if you are good inside you'll appear good outside and if your all rotten inside, you'll be vulgar outside? I totally disbelief that statement. Really, through the years I have somehow successfully hide the dark in me. And the effects are slowly surfacing, suffering from post-sin.

Hahaha.. Sorry for such a crazy post. One of John's mood swings. Its funny how human kind behave. Well, allow me some time to just soak in this and hopefully I might get out of it. I feel so weak and helpless right now in this. Oh where should I turn to?..... I turn my eyes to the hills and there my help comes from................

Of Katharine, Exams and Outing!..

Wassup faithful readers!!!

First, forgive me for neglecting my site.. It has certainly been some time since I wrote something. Well, exams for a start has just ended today and I'm so glad on one hand but on the other hand, the results are nothing to be rejoiced for.

Let me start first with my discussion on Katharine McPhee. Simply gorgeous, sexy, stunning, superb, and fantastic. She has been so consistant with her performances and she just has a wonderful voice. I have to admit I really expected Chris and Katharine to battle it out at the finals. It was really unexpected. But well, Taylor.. I really can't say much. Its either you Really Love him and just fully impressed by his performances or you just can't stand him and one for me, I CAN'T stand him. But he has a higher possibility of winning this. We will just wait and see during the finals. Katharine will not and cannot screw this up. Gonna get my God-Bro at US to vote for me.. Hahaha.. I was just sucked into space when she sang Somewhere Over the Rainbow last Wednesday. It was perfect. Never ever heard someone sang that perfectly with full of feeling and expression. Love her totally. Another thing I was really moved by was the number of supporters that turned up for Taylor and Elliot during their visit back at their homes. Crazy! The thousands just "worshiping" them. Just magnificent. I also want like dat!!.. Hahaha.. Can't wait for American Idol on Wednesday!

Alright, now back to the serious stuff. Exams. Gosh, this has been the worst ever in my life. Things just weren't going well all through out my exams. Really, I couldn't sleep the first and second week. My nose gave me problems on the third week. But those were just excuses. The real reason I guess why I totally really seriously WON'T do well this term is the LACK OF PREPARATION and PROCRASTINATION! Really, I just feel like I'm having a emotional, physical and spiritual meltdown. Somehow its all intertwined. Having emotional and physical meltdowns will somehow cause the lack of communication and devotion to God, thus affecting myself spiritually. Really, sometimes I just feel so down, lost, sad, disappointed, like a failure, losing hope, giving up my dreams and the list goes on. I can choose to dwell on these feelings or not. But somehow its so easy to fall into these feelings. Really, for this week, I got back my Physics and Sejarah results. Ok, everyone has their own standards and goals and for me, I should get an A1 for my physics but I screwed up my Paper 1 and ended up coming out with an A2. For History? Gosh~~~ Everyone in my class is gonna get an A1 or A2 but my hopes for a B3 might not evern be there. I really should retain and get back my B3 at least. Crazy people. My add math? ARGH!!!!!!! I've always scored A1 for my Add math for the past year.. But this term?... A B3 seems impossible. Probably some of you right now might be shaking your head in disbelief how ungrateful and pethetic I am, but everyone has their standards and goals and these were my goals, CRUSHED. Really, I am planning to apply for a scholarship with HELP with the results this term but considering my marks.... "dot dot dot".... I really wanna rely on God, but I really don't know how to!?! Help me!?!! Need stress management classes!!!

Alrighty, as I was saying, today was the last day of my exams. My parents had left this morning at 5 am to Vietnam for a Mission's Trip. So I have the privilege to drive to school to school everyday and to tuition for the whole week. So I drove to school in the morning and we left after school for lunch with a few friends. After I got back I decided to go out to 1Utama with Ee Jin, Chupsy, Xue Rou, Sarny, Jinny, Jo Lin, Eric and Wei Wen. It was a CRAZY 7 HOURS!.. We did not watch any movies although we planned to watch Da Vinci but it was too full. So we just ate dinner some Korean Barbeque place la(correct me if I'm wrong). It was just a crazy whacko role playing crap talking, laughin and foreign stares time. Really enjoyed it dudes ;). After that we hanged around shopped a bit here and there and soon after we left for Ee Jin's place and had another whacko crazy role playing session there amidst the house tour we got. All in all, I really want to write in detailed but I'm too tired la. Need my rest now.

So you take care ya people. Wil write on something a little more thought provocating one of these days. Love ya'll!!

Of The Da Vinci's Code..

Wassup ya'll!!

Well, as you've all found out, I've bought myself some books to read recently and I had included the Da Vinci's Code in my library. I bought it on Saturday night and guess what, I'm done reading it already! Weee.. I cannot deny it is a good book. Really, the thrills and adventure really sends your pulse beating faster and faster as each page turns. On the other hand I have to warn that this book is not for the faint of faith. Christians with no strong foundation will question their own faith and non-Christians will definately be convinced that Christianity is a fraud. Well, as the world now is heated up with this debate, I really do caution everyone who is interested and curious of what this whole thing is about. Not all facts are factual. Not everything you see or read is believable, so really, if you don't read with this in mind, you'd be shakened.

I was so hooked on the book. Its crazy. The adrenaline rush and mind boggling mysteries. I actually put my studies on hold despite my mid-term exams starting this Thursday(GOSH!). I really can't wait for the movie and how cleverly they would stitch it all together. There are many twist to the stories and Brown has ingeniously infuse historical legends/myths to come out with such genuine questions. You have to read it for yourself to be surprised. But likewise again I warn that you need not believe it all. Really, if it was all true, he wouldn't have catogorize it as Fiction. Though many statements may bring you to some conclusion of profanity, keep in mind that its all just a story after all. But I really am lookin forward to visiting the Museums he had mentioned in France and London. This book has really gotten me in touch with Art History and some philosophy. Its intriguing and just captivates my night with fantasies. I would read it till the wee hours in the morning and wake up the next day to find myself on my sofa reading to the sound of Jazz Channel 111 on Astro.

Well, I still have 2 more books to go, Laughing as they Chased Us - Sarah Jackman and The Known World - Edward P. Jones (as recommended on Oprah). Wakakakaka.. But I forbid myself from reading these literature until my papers are over. Let's just pray now I'll have as much interest to read my Malaysian history book as I have to the Da Vinci. All the best to ya'll too in your exams. Signing off now. Back to study :(

Yours in love,

Of Hitz.Fm's and its Mad-Crazy-Whacko DJs

Inspite of me not singing for this gig with Liang, I went over with my bro and Amanda to just chill and support Liang. As soon as we went there they were giving away some T-Shirts and we had to give hugs to some of their DJs. Everyone was there, Rudy, JJ, Serena C, Adam C, Jason Lo, Ean, Jakeman, wateva whoever did I miss out. They are one mad bunch of people. I got to hug Jason Lo for a XL T-Shirt, Hahaha.. So through out the thing I just chilled with the dancers and Liang and afterwards went for lunch at Chilli's. Groovy weekend man. Enjoy the pics. How do you put You Tube video's here? Probably I could share with you guys some of last night's gigs like Jaclyn practicing and today's show too :) Keep rocking on peeps and support your local music industry!!! ;)

Of Gigs and a Entertainer's Life

Probably some of you had knew that I was doing a gig with Jaclyn, Juwita and Liang tonight at Maranatha. It was small stuff for me, just backed-up and just experience being involved in these kinda gigs. It was really fun with all the dancers, singing, lauging with the band. I really got to experience a day in a star's life. Other than wasting alot of time waiting and practicing, I really liked it. Jac was superb la. Head bows to her man, her range is just limitless. She ain't too bad a person la. Got to know some really nice people from Urban Groove. If you didn't know who are they, they are Hip-Hop-Breakdancing group that is recently breaking through. They have a studio over at Subang and offer many classes. Me very interested ler. But looking at my tight schedule, doubt I can take any classes this year. I like dancing, singing, acting... Me entertainer? Do you honestly see me as an entertainer/singer? Hmmmm... I mean, I wouldn't mind breaking into the Music Scene for a few years in college but probably not as a career la. Still looking at the prospects for career paths and future education now. We will see how it goes. However the let down was that I'm not backing up for Liang tomorrow at 1 Utama anymore :(. Sadly Ps. Julie doesn't me to miss church. Well, I'm sure there are more to come la. Boohoo, so much for the hype.

So, can you imagine John Lim, singing in your TV Box, hearing him on the radio, and probably reading him on the cover page of Star 2? All in the hands of God, Amen.

Humming,

Of Future Decisions and Character..

I have to say after a long while I've not had such a fruitful chat with anyone already. It was Good Friday tonight and I had gone to church for our Good Friday service. We had a simple skit and preaching by Ps. Carl Butler. Wasn't concentrating too much because Wei Wen was disturbing me. Don't worry, its a Wei Wen from church. I felt the previous year's drama was more dramatic and had more feel to it. Well, everyone is entitled to their opinions right? Anyway, had a jolly good time after that just chilling while the sick were being prayed for.

Hanged around with Vincent a little to catch up on "old" buddy times from not too long ago (just back in February I guess?). Anyway, at last we had good laughs and picking around here and there. Afterwards he disappeared and here comes his elder bro Danny. I have to do a little intro here for Danny. He is about 25/26 and just graduated from some Roff????? University in Sheffield, UK with a Masters in International Trade and Consumer Law la. In short, he has a Masters in Law. He's an extremely intelligent and sleek dude. Seriously, it is him I'm meaning about having the fruitful conversation with. Probably I've known Vincent a little well thats why I immediately clicked with Danny. We went all over talking about Studies, Career prospects, studying in UK, Man U~ -.-", and many more. He's the kinda guy I really admire. Like I've said before, I like to look ahead and plan plan plan for my future. I'd probably laid many plans for my future already all pathed out till I'm 30. So as I was saying, I'd always love the idea of exploring different routes and options and I had definately asked about studying law but his answer was the perfect one. I can't totally give you the quoted answer but I'll rephrase it and I'll share it with ya'll.

Right now, career prospects are not so much focused on Degree/Master qualifications but lesson you've learnt through it. I really liked the idea. Jobs now do not really require one to be so specialised but the one thing he pressed on was lessons and the growing process of maturity through Uni, living overseas, living alone, and being all independent. At the end of the day whatever field you are put in if you don't have the tenacity and determination you'd never succeed and likewise, if you have what it takes in your heart, whatevar and wherever you are put in, you'll definately push towards it, whether you are a medical student, singer, or even a rubbish collector. Point is its never of what you study. I liked what he said at one point. Immediately when he graduated he was all excited about just getting his certificate and just left his knowledge with the books because we'd probably never use them anymore. I quickly found that to be hypocrisy when he said if you have the "thing" for life you'd definately succeed and he "left" the knowledge in a way. But he countered that saying that it is so actually true that we really don't use what our textbooks say anymore but what we can and should bring with us is the character that we've built through the course of time as we are slowly moulded through lessons we learn living all alone in foreign ground. That's why organizations now push so much on character and discipline because these 2 will shape our future. These 2 factors can determine success or defeat, happiness or disaster.

Just a simple 30 minute conversation can make or break someone. Probably some of you are just blinking eyes wondering what big a deal he has said but you've just missed one of the most important lessons in life. Sometimes we have all the answers in life, all right in-front of us, but we never take the time and just listen to the wind. Forgive me if I've not conveyed his message in perfection to you guys, but as much as I want to, I'd like to share any knowledge I can with all of you out there wherever you may be in hopes you learn as much as I do and use your life for good. It ain't about the course you study, neither is it about the Uni you go to, neither is it about the job you get, but it all comes down to your character and the spirit thats living in you.

I've so much to share with you but I guess I'll leave some to self discovery as how I came to understand. The best way to learn is always self discovery (although physical self discovery need not apply here) and I always encourage each and everyone to slowly learn from your OWN mistakes but of course with a few guidelines and help from people around us and angels like Danny. Take care ya'll!

PS: Danny, correct me if I've misquoted anything here. Feel free to correct me ;) kor kor? :P

Of Questions and Answers...

Undenialbly human kind is the most complex and complicated creation of God. But sometimes its us humans ourselves that make things difficult for ourselve. Each of us are so unique in our own ways. But sometimes we just don't realise how truly unique each of us is. DNA molecules can unite in an infinite number of ways. According to statistics, the number of likelihood that DNA molecules can miraculously combine to create a similar kind is 10 to 2,400,000,000th power. That's close to nothing that you'd ever find someone like You. Throw in different circumstances like climate, growing space, environment and education, its impossible to find anyone like you likewise me.

Well, for you science students out there, blame God for putting in variations. But what is our World without variations. Such complexity is what makes You and I special in our own way. He made "introverts" and "extroverts". He made people who are "feelers" and some "thinkers". God made some people more team orientated and some more individualistic. He made some that scored 15A1's for SPM and some with 1A1, 3A2's, 4B3's, and 2B4's instead. God crafted some to be sexier than others, and some smellier than others too. Point is, I'm trying to appreciate you and I here.

There is never a right or wrong for our temperaments. We need all kinds of personalities to balance this world. Say if you put and introvert on the bed with Jessica Alba and an extrovert with her, definately they have different ways of getting it in right? Likewise, we are all unique and that is why these days I've really been approaching the possibilities of my future. I don't know about me but if you really know me, I'm not really a "think present" kinda guy. I always like to look ahead and infront. Not that I'm saying you guys don't look infront la but I always like exploring options in life and learning from others' experiences. There was a saying that Experiences aren't the things that happened to us but what we did when it happened. Probably one of these days I want to come out with a John-Lim-Built personality test. I'm always very intrigued by human behavior and actions. I have to admit that my "thinking time" at night has lessened since but I still think a whole lot about everything. But how are we to grow without thinking?

I'm sitting on my wooden chair at this moment at 1.05am on a Tuesday Night writing this in thoughts. What tomorrow holds for me is unknown, but what I know is that I'm gonna live it at my best! No mood swing!

*Note: It is currently my period of the Month ;P

Of Small Cuts..

Hmmm....

Is it that bad? I really doubt it is lor. But by the reaction, I guess it meant something. I really don't want to say I all hurt, but why? Shouldn't I NOT be affected? I really don't understand. It's such a small thing but it did affect me. Weird. But, you ain't the one I feel. Aiks.

Seriously, talking as a whole, when you were lied to, ish...... dowan la. Dowan to write la. I'm sorry whom-it-may concern. It wasn't my business and I shouldn't even be affected by it at all. It's really silly. Sorry ya. Hope it won't affect our NORMAL friendship :).

Well, tonight was not too bad. Had practice for Easter at Ps. Julie's place. Just a simple song on God's Love for us. Hang around, eating Struddles, Banana Pie, sang a little of Ain't No Mountain and left for Isaac's place for mamak night. Its Muhammad's Birthday tomorrow so apparently the whole Malaysia is on a public holiday. So we got off from Isaac's place only at 11pm. Ate at William's. Terrible, just terrible. I would go back to Murni at any day of the week. After some crap talk we headed off to Ee Jin's place. Watch her jump around a little and left home. Got home at 1am. Come home, and here I am.

Tonight a bit emo. Wanna write something bout Determination and Future. Or should I write on Self Pity and Dissapointments? Positive or Negative? The past few months have been difficult for me la. I've been keeping so much to myself. Sometimes I really don't even know myself anymore. It hurts myself deeply when I try over and over again and fail to overcome a certain obstacle. Don't we all appear alright but deep inside, I'm cracking slowly. I really don't know if anyone is there for me anymore. Its hard to say. Probably I'm so caught up with activities and so till I have abandoned time to just stop and enjoy myself again. Is it just human nature to be so confused and naive?

Form 5 have been madness. Somehow although I should be slowing down on activities in church and school, somehow my schedule still has been crazy. From camps to meetings, to IU and more meetings. I dunno, somehow I hate like emphasizing on my schedule but there are just so many things on my back. I'm so sick and tired of being shouldered with burdens. Probably there's a bigger plan to all these. Coming up in the month of April, this week's Easter Song. Next week, driving and backing up with Jaclyn Victor, Juwita and Liang. And Sunday at 1 Utama for Liang's performance for Hitz.Fm. Small stuff la. Just backing up for them. Its the experience that counts. Do you see me sipping in the Local Music Industry? I wouldn't mind just hanging around there for a few years then get serious with a proper career. But singing is fun.

Ah.. I'm just looking for someone to love me for who I am, what I am, how my fart smells, how terrible my comments are, how fat I am and not for my voice, my status, my positions or my contacts. Please, someone, UNDERSTAND ME! *crys*

Of Fat Asses and Deaf Americans

Why Mandisa!! She the man la! Boohoo.. Was cheering on for her. I was like "Oh My Gawd" when Ryan said Mandisa's name. I was like, "Elliot you #$%#$%$ #%#$%".. Man, American Idol won't be much of a competition now. I'm beginning to believe it was a conspiracy. None of them were sad, the judges were laughing and dancing as if she'd got some million dollar contract already. The contestants should be stepping up to the occasion now with the Power House gone. None are worthy of contending other than my beloved Katherine. My 100% is going towards Katherine. Damn, she's hot! So much for American Idol. Allow me to spill my thoughts

Taylor : Dude, he's in another league. I respect you but, I just don't feel ya. Don't blame me man.
Chris : Alright we have to admit he is hot, but.... Rockstar was more for you. Missed the auditions in KL?
Paris : Spotted her earlier on. She's still young. Loads of time to groom her into a diva. But for now, let my Katherine do her thing alright?
Elliot : You #$%%&%#$%! Do something bout the looks la sir.
Ace : Of all right now, he's the weakest. Can't wait for his departure.
Bucky : What the $%&# you doing in this competition?!
Kellie : Blonde~ She's adorable la. Btw, don't you realise Ryan and her look so cute together?
KATHERINE : She da bomb!!! You turn my rainny days to Sunny HOT HOT ones. Ok, probably not that hot la, but you know what I mean. It'll crush my world seing you leave.

Hmmmmm.. Ish, I'm sounding like some sick dude that is having a McFee-ver. Ok, SORRY LA to those American Idol dudes that I've slandered. Just needed a realease of tension after realising Mandisa took leave. Alrighty, back to normal life mode.

Note: Gosh John, didn't know you swear that much?..(Oh, You do!)

Hey ya all!!!

Time has its pace and seemingly I guess I've not been able to catch up. Well, first of all, I'll just update what has just happened lately ok ;). As some of you would know I've just got back from my Prefects camp at some ulu place... Hulu Langat. Lolz. I have to admit I was very skeptical at first before going. After pale experiences from years before, we prefects have come to dread our Prefect Camp. However there was a turn of event this year. Madam Poh(Evil Witch) failed to retain her status as Camp Commandant. Miss Woo(Angel from Heaven) was our superbly nice Camp Commandant. Camp begin with us arriving there about 9 something on Friday morning. We had our briefing and camp song stuff and got our team names and cheers. My team name was "Ripple". Nope, its not a silly name. We agreed on it because it symbolises us, small peeps but we like ripples can cause destructive waves if combined. Sorry if I sound too patriotic bout it. LOLz. Anyway off with that, our enxt activity was JUNGLE TRACKING! Weeee!! Got into long pants and got insect repelent on my hand and neck (Thanx Jonny Boy!). Off we went! This jungle track was not like any other camps I went for. This was what I call Fun! It was REALLY steep. 70 degrees enough for ya? Lolz. Some paths were so small and pot holes were everywhere. How can we ever forget the leeches. They were cute. Didn't get a bite but helped a girl get it off. Loads of blood they suck. Anyway, all through out the hike I helped a young Form 1 kid, Syahir, Syafiq's younger bro. He's really smart and cute. Half way through we had to jump into MUD! Argh.. that was what I hated most. MY SHOES!!!! Poor Nike Presto. Note: Its not the ones I posted on before, its BETTER. Anyway, no one could avoid that. So I got my shoes and socks all guewy and muddy. Soon after, we had to walk through a river, following it back to our camp. it was a fun experience. The river was knee to waist deep. Fun fun! Help Syahir through. After we were done, some of us got to know that my dorm mates were the only dorm to sleep in OUTDOOR TENTS! What an experience. On pure sandy ground with just a cloth over our heads at night and mosquito nets as doors. In the afternoon the tents were Freaking Hot and in the night, it was WORST than Genting. Trust me. Boy it was cold. That night we had Solo Drops again this year. At 11pm we were off to the jungle again. This time on a safer track where they slowly drop us one by one to be left ALONE. I was left all alone for an hour long, just lookin at the sky, reflecting on Life, friends and stuffs that were happening. One thing I've learned, Mushrooms glow in the dark too! Lolz. I had to pee in the jungle too. SHHHHH. Hahaha.

The next morning we got up at 630am and did some morning-gay-exercise with Eric-gay. All through out the camp Jonathan and I kept watching his actions, and boy they were gay. His very Justin if you know what I mean. Sleeveless is the only tops he has la. Soon after we had our Obstacle course challenge. Freaking easy la. Then Flying Fox. This Flying Fox was much longer than the first year. It was from a high hill all the way down above a huge pond. Damn FUN! After some de-briefing we did River Rafting. Our raft was to fit 12 people and we only had 6 tyres 5 logs and 2 pedals. We didn't too well and our leader had almost drowned in the pond only for John Lim to save him (ceh~). In the afternoon we had indoor strategy games. It was very physical though. Lazy to explain la. But we all had a good workout. Lolz. After that we had our Great Cook-Out. We had to cook our own meals with self made fireplace. I guess the challenge was to keep the fire alive la. I pass as a scout wei! Hahaha. Anyway thats most of it la. The rest lazy to say la. Got back at 3pm on Sunday and slept till 10am Monday morning. Ponteng School! So much for the dedication! Lolz.

Well, all in all I enjoyed Prefects camp the most compared to the CF and PBSM camp the past weeks. Now back to church this week. Been missing 3 weeks of church. John has officially backslided. Lolz. Things have been rather hectic and stressful for me, AGAIN. Had frequent moody nights. I hate it when my moods control me. But I know there are people around me that can always be here for me! Thanx Jo Weng, Jonathan, Victor, Benny, Sarah, Julie-my beloved sis, Emelia, Ee Jin and all ya'll out there that had counsel me the past few weeks. All throughout the camp I hanged out most with Jonathan, Rayce, Genevieve and Lisa. Thanx for temaning me when all other prefect friends abandoned me, Yes you Jinn, Ben, Isaac and Caryn! Mean people! Hahaha.

Will wanna write something on an issue sometime soon. Until then Love ya'll!! Keep on reading!

With love,

This is for You, Jo Lin

Well ideally, I shouldn’t be writing here now but I should be attending Leo. This is how it all started. I had stormed off in frustration after school and just sped home on my feet. It was a walk of thoughts. As I was enjoying the HOT weather, my mind ran with thoughts. No, not horny thoughts nor vicious thoughts either. I was reflecting on what we, as human kind should do and how we behave sometimes to different circumstances.

I had agreed to do my Oral with Eu Jinn, yes ORAL. Well, on the other hand, Jo Lin had meant to do the Oral too with either one of us. But Mr. Mail only allowed 2 to a group. Thus, leaving Jo Lin helplessly alone without a partner. She even turned to Sarak for help! Anyway, that’s not the point. We ended up in our routine arguments over petty issues. She was feeling unfair that she’d get a partner and more or less blamed me for it. But what I brought her to attention to is that if either one of us were left out, would that also give us the liberty to call it unfair? Wouldn’t it be unfair too to the one that was left out. I mean, c’mon its something we have to accept, you don’t have a partner, then move on find another. I face that too sometimes. So and because of that she ended up being all Emo and I tried to get the frustration off my mid by doing some English. So now, after school, I just got so frustrated by the way we were behaving and rushed off and missing LEO. I just wanted some time alone to think over the situation and my actions.

Well, if you can’t read between the lines, all I was saying is that Jo Lin was at fault and it didn’t have to be brought to such a matter and well, somehow I demanded for an apology in my cold treatment. However, for all I know, I need not wait for her to say sorry, but as ME, John Lim, as a cell leader, as a best-friend, as a classmate, as a human, I could have all the opportunity in the world to say sorry. But I choose not too. It’s wrong, definitely. But today I have shown a vulnerable side of me. A weak part of me. My pride. As I walked on the streets of SS2, thoughts of self reflection and forgiveness just clouded my thoughts. I’m a kind of person that doesn’t say sorry. Really, I’m all egoistic, proud, unforgiving in nature, and I keep hurts deep in the corners of my heart. I still do not understand the read meaning of forgiveness. I really don’t understand how someone as Jesus would forgive the ones that have hurt and betrayed him. His example goes leaps and bounds. Truly, I’m humbled by his experiences and yes, it will be my challenge this day to CHOOSE to forgive those who have hurt me in different ways. I don’t want to lose a friend just because of some petty Oral business because our friendship goes a far way.

Incidentally, it is her Birthday tomorrow. And I guess it will be the best present I can give her. Forgiveness. Jo Lin has always been complaining why I’ve not written a post about her, well, Jo, here it is. This is for You. I’ve come to know of this bubbly girl when I transferred from A.C.S. Klang to SRK Taman SEA when I was in Standard 5. Jo Lin was probably one of my best friends there already apart from Sanjay. We were always racing of whom would pass up math homework faster. Really, thinking of it now, it was silly. We would race to the teachers table to hand in our books. You can imagine, John VS Jo Lin in racing! You should know the winner ;). But point is, things kept working out for us and our friendship remains till this year. Though we have constant arguments EVERYDAY, yes EVERYDAY but yet our friendship remains. Before I move on, thanx Eu Jinn for coping with us :P. I can say that we’ve sticked together through thick and thin and yes, You will remain as my best-friend till the time comes. But through it all, I know Jo Lin is such a beautiful friend and has been with me and heard me out with all my complains, weird and critical comments, and gay remarks.

Jo Lin, if You are reading this, I’m sorry for showing my tantrum and leaving LEO. I’m sorry if I have chosen Eu Jinn over you for ~ORAL~. I’m sorry I lost your Add Math Book which I still think I didn’t. I’m sorry for the shouting I’ve done. I’m sorry that I can’t make it this Saturday. I’m sorry if I’ve ever made you sad. I’m sorry if I’ve ever call you fat and I’m sorry if I stole your heart with this post. Happy be-early Birthday!

Forgive thee,
-jOhN “repenting” LiM-

ps: Thank you for the some of you that have sensed my frustration and have tried to comfort me. Really appreciate you care and concern. Cheers to you too. You might just have a post of your own too. ;)

Of Friendship, Tasks, and Thoughts...

Of Friendship that knows no bounds in distance. Well probably, it is Hardship that may bring True Friendship together. I just had a feeling of writing about the Ships we sail along by in our life. Probably some of our “Friend-Ships” are wavering at sea, and probably some have sunken. But nevertheless, people that pass through our life have thought each of us a precious lesson.

Friend-Ship is definitely a “ship” that isn’t easy to build. It takes time, effort, and probably some money too. But for all I know almost 80% of people I know have not found the Right Friend-Ship. Its hard, nod your head with me and say “Its hard”. I guess finding is not the problem. There are millions of people that cross our path each day. Can you imagine, Jien even passes my house every week (according to some calculation.. you know, all those “keberangkalian” crap). But that’s not the point. Point is, the problem with it all is compatibility.
But well, I guess I'm thankful and REALLY thankful for all those around me. Love ya'll. Don't wanna mention names, afraid I miss out any of you.

Here's also a lil I've picked up from somewhere, very true and interesting
Focus on tasks and not on activities…
In managing our time, many of are conscious of what we are doing butnot why we are doing what we are doing. We need to focus on the endresult of our activities and not on merely on our activities. We needto distinguish between a 'task' and andactivity'. A task is the endresult of an activity or a set of activities.

For example, 'reading a book' is an activity and the task isacquisition of knowledge. 'Jogging' is an activity and reducing weightis the task. If there is no link between an activity and a task in ourconscious awareness, then we may not do that activity for long. Theybecome meaningless rituals in our mind. If an activity or a set ofactivities does not produce the expected results, then it becomes awaste of time.

The ability to link and activity and task is an important ingredientfor success. We need to start with an end in our mind and just not bemerely doing an activity. Our inner dialogue should be in line withthis simple principle. For example, we should say 'I am going to jog'.Instead of this we should say 'I will be one kg less in 30 days by jogging 15 minutes per day'. We should not say 'I am meditating' but say, 'I am improving my mental health by meditating'.

Whenever we are able to link an activity and a task, we will be able to measure the result of our outcome. By simply asking the question'why am I doing this activity? we will be able to release our time alot of unnecessary activities which 'fills up' our time. We will beable to distinguish between 'value adding' and 'non value addingactivities'. An activity is value adding only when it takes us nearerto our goals and objectives. All other activities are non-value addingand are just 'filler' material for our time.Time is such a precious resource, which should not be dissipated onmeaningless activities. Today you print a question: why am I doingthis? and place it in front of your worktable. This will help you tomake off-course corrections in your daily activities.Just answer this question: why are you reading this page!

-End of Post 1-

Interesting read up there. It really meant loads to me probably because I have so many activities at hand till I actually forget my reason or cause of doing all of this. For Exp: I should I say "I want to allow my friends to know me better by me blogging" rather than "I SHOULD write a post every week". Get me? :P

Alrighty now for something more on the light note. Charity Concert is coming up very soon. Somehow I really do not understand why everyone is going for it? When did everyone become LEO enthusiast? I admit, I lost my FIRE for 'it' hahaha. But heck it, its RM15. Yes, it is NOT cheap to me. Have anyone told you I am very calculative when it comes to money. Maybe thats why I want to do something in the Finance/Stock sector. Well, I'm secretly wishing The LEO thing will suck. GOSH?! When did John ever become so hypo-critical? Not good~. Fish la. LOLz. I'm just so sick and tired of ACTIVITIES after ACTIVITIES. Is Life just all about all this?

Now to add a little from above. I actually meant it for Victor's departure but who would ever guess my sis would also leave on the same week. My sis left on Thursday and I'll miss her dead. She has ben such a great support and friend EVERY night! As long as she's back our conversations never end. She has always been by my side whenever I wanted to complain, shout, get angry with, laugh, sing, cry and sleep. Yes, I sleep with my sis on the same bed when she's around ;). Nopez, TO THE PURE ALL THINGS ARE PURE. *Hugs Sis*. Back to Perth she left, and now the room is all clean and quiet again. LOLz. You're gonna be strong ya Ci! (Ci is Che in Hokkien).

Ahh... what a relieve to finally update this lovely blog. Continue reading ya peeps. OH BEFORE I LEAVE, I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE AMERICAN IDOL!!!! I'm routing for Mandisa, Paris, Lisa and Katherine. David is sleek and I really think Ace is gay. Other than that, Ryan is as good as ever, Simon speaks my mind and I love SINGING! Weeeeeee!! This is to SINGING in the Future. Might be singing at Hitz.FM birthday bash with Liang. We'll see how it goes ;) Muax everyone!!

Sigh of relieve,

For the Love of Money

Alrighty, I have much to update here. First of all, my Chinese new year isn’t as boring as it is said below. Last weekend I joined a group of crazy whacky noisy people for a small CNY celebration at Xue Rou’s place. We were all fascinated with the small compartment above at her backyard. It was a small hole in which they allowed their maid to stay in while she was working. Unfortunately, me and Ee Jin didn’t have the opportunity to play hide and seek there. The next highlight last week was also the steamboat at Jinny’s place. It was very much like a “friend-family reunion”. Probably we could reunite again next year? :P. Other than that, the rest of the week was a drag.

I was preparing for the last cell at SS2B on Friday night and I was also worship leading the coming Sunday which is today. First of all, preparing for Friday wasn’t too bad, but wasn’t that easy either. I had sacrificed my WHOLE Friday afternoon for them just to draw them cute faces and write them personal notes. Trust me, drawing and Writing for 25 special people can take up to 3 to 4 hours. But all in all, it was a mediocre night. There weren’t any tears but there were whining. Unfortunately we didn’t take much pictures. But the food was excellent. We had so many things to eat. I really pray that both cells will grow and multiply the following year. Its truly amazing to see growth in all the cell members both spiritually and physically for the past year and a half with them. Though we exceeded our time at the place, I guess it did it well. So, goodbye SS2B, hello SS2C Park. Cool name right? Michelle’s place is Right opposite my school, in front of SS1, SS3, SS2 and Sect 21. We’re like in the core of it all. Curious bout what I’m talking about? Then join us every Friday night at 7, Jalan 21/37 for a small gathering of whacky people just to have fun, make noise and learn about the one we love.

Yesterday, I was over at Jinny’s place in the afternoon just to “play” a few games. Ok, I gambled. Lolz. Though I lost RM9 there, little did I know what was in stored for me later on in the night. Xue Rou too had a gathering again at her place in the night. I seriously was not planning to go considering the fact I was up at 6.30am for tennis till 9 and was out the whole day after that to worship practice at church. I was really tired and needed rest for the next day at church. But after some convincing by Jinny online, I finally agreed to go. Boy, I didn’t regret this decision. Thank You Jinny Baby! Arrived at bout 9.30pm at Xue Rou’s place with Benjoz. We got warmed up and started our game upstairs. Ee Jin, Jo Lin, Jinny, Benjoz, Xue Rou, Miew San, Chupsy and Wei Wen were there plus me were 9 of us. I had lost bout RM10 the first 45 minutes. I was whining the whole way through with Miew San. Jinny had won RM27 at Jackpot and we were all really pissed. We couldn’t take it anymore and turned to In Between for help. Everyone was only winning a little till one round. The Pot was building and building and building till some RM50+ in the Pot. Little did I know that my whining was not in vain. It was my turn and I had 2 and Queen. If you know In Between, it was really good. I can’t explain how excited we all were but it was crazy. We got the Kodak moment on camera. Jinny probably might upload it on his blog, go check it out. After some moment of screams and shouts, I decided to raise the stakes to RM35. And guess what! I won the RM35! Weeee.. A little while after that I had to leave and left with my earnings. I shall not disclose how much I had won that night but it was an awesome feeling. But, that shall be the last time I gamble this year. So, goodbye to gambling till next year!

Well, I guess that’s all I can update for now. I have so much to say but time forbid. So goodnight ya’ll and have a great week ahead!

Happy Birthday and CNY to me! :P

Alas a post. Forgive Yours truly once again for my lack of attention to this site. Sigh. Time has been a restrain. Anyway, the past week has again been quite packed and hectic. Well, maybe I should write about something that just had happen that is……. My Birthday! Weeee… This year’s 17th Birthday wasn’t much of a bang or boom. It was just a simple, sweet, beautiful day (Btw, did you know, OPRAH WINFREY was born on the SAME day! 29th of Jan!). Went to church in the morning, went over to Aunt/Uncle’s place at Shah Alam for lunch. Note, it was also the First Day of Chinese New Year. We already had my birthday cake after falling for temptaion the night before at our reunion dinner. It was a savouring caramel cake from King’s Confectionary. It was A++. Just simply irresistable. In the evening, my family finally agreed on having dinner at Italianese. I seem to be the only Italian Food fanatic in my family. My bro hates Spagetti, Mom doesn’t like the thickness of the cheese, Sister only likes Rice and Chinese Dishes, and I dunno if my dad doesn’t like it or not. But dinner was superb too. Had Cabonara, Spagetti Meat Balls and Stuffed Mushrooms which were just splendid for a Birthday Night. 1U was like a ghost town. No shit. It was as dead and quiet as if the God of Chaos was about to arrive. All in all, it was a rather quiet birthday, but hey, I really liked it. Just sweet. Oh, and a special shout out to all those who’d wished me. Received heaps of sweet smses. Thanx ya’ll!

Chinese New Year. The one conclusion I’ve came out with is that Chinese New Year means Television Time with Family. What else can you do during chinese new year other than food food food and more food? But cool family movies rock. It’s the time of the year when we all sit down together and watch as Hong Kong stars stret their way up the stage to receive their heavy metal toys that only make their way to shelves. Last night, we watched Mr. Hong Kong. Gosh~ Hong Kong seem to be coming up with all these cheesy crappy shows. Buffed Boys shashaying along their way, working it out. The highlight of the night was when we found out there was a swimsuit round too! My Gawd, they had water to wet them too. Ughh.. with the wet look and see-through shirts and “United Colours of Beneton” Speedos, God forbid this competition to happen again! Wonder who coordinated their clothing rack. It was bad. Colour combination was out. The winner had a purple coat with lime green pants. He looked like Joker from Batman. But one thing I learnt from this competition is that women still prefer guys that are intouch with sensitivity. I guess the winner had it all when he serenaded the women with his scales on the piano. But I guess all in all the togetherness of the show was the thing that made it special. It surely wouldn’t be fun if I’d watched it alone, or would it? :P.

Looking forward to the next few days of this holiday. It’s a good get away from school. And as I write this, I can’t believe it is the last day of the month of January. Its over! Its Fishing Over! 10 more months to go to SPM! Ahhhhh……..

Staying focus, Pulling through, Pressing On!

Everyday has been such a gust of wind. It has been a wild week and it will be wild for the whole year long. It is crazy to imagine that I actually have tuition or something extra everyday. I have tuitions everyday of the week except the weekends where I have tennis lessons and worship practices and church activities. That’s sad ain’t it? But life goes on. I’m starting to feel how working people feel. They struggle to wake up early and leave for the office and get home late, have a few bites of chicken rice and read a lil and get to bed and the cycle goes on. Holidays mean more to me now. We LIVE for those days :P.

But anyway, yesterday was a crazy day once more. Got up at 630am and went for tennis from 7am to 9am. Immediately got a change and went to school to help paint the damn carpark which I dunno why must we paint it the same damn colour?! :P. After some painting and weeding, went home to get a bath and immediately left for Central Park at BU for my cell’s outing. It was a crazy time of laughing and eating. Enjoyed it loads. I want pics people!! Walked over to BU afterwards to meet up wif Jinny, Ben, Emelia and Jo for a movie. Watched Pride & Prejudice. Love their accent and english. It’s just so special how they express themselves. Simply extraordinary. However I had to leave half way through the movie to go to church. Didn’t want to attend Sunday Service because I didn’t want to wake up early the next morning as I have through out the whole week. So rushed to the Saturday Service and afterwards went for dinner with family at Green View in Sect 19. Boy, after a long while I had never had such a great meal. The highlights were Yee Sang and Crab! Lovely, Tasty, and how Jo Lin explains it, “Orgasmic”. By this time I had not got home since my cell outing at 11am. After dinner I got home for a bath and went out AGAIN to meet up with the cell guys for mamak. We chatted till bout some 12am before I got home. Fuh~ It was a long PRODUCTIVE day. Love it. :P Unfortunately through the process I had rejected an offer to MC for the Leo Charity Concert coming this February. But well, I just can’t commit anymore.

Its crazy how involved I am in school. But whats the point of it? Hmmm.. Not that I want to brag or anything here, but here are my RESPONSIBILITIES in school;

Prefects – Student Affairs Department Director
Leo – Vice President
PBSM – Membership Director
Yellow House – Form 5 Representative
Christian Fellowship – Form 5 Representative
Tennis Club – President?

Its crazy. I remind you, these are only the responsibilities I hold in school. I am as active in church as I am in school. I am a cell leader of SS2B as well as a worship leader in our Youth Church. Quite a number now have wondered how I juggle my studies and my co-curricular activities and I just don’t know how to answer them. It has to be the wisdom of God. Seriously. Its madness. Without God, by now, I’m some blown up chicken. His strength is always suffiencient for us, Amen? :P. Mom is beginning to complain now. It’s true what she says, that SPM only come by once. I really want to do well for it ;) and so do you of course. Well, all I can do is trust in God now. So many things on my mind, responsibilities, Friends, Family, Church, School, Tennis, Love? Hahahaha… Ok, maybe Love ain’t in it. Fuh, Frienship is another thing. I’m starting to realise I am unable to say No to friends sometimes. I always like to spend time with my friends and all, but sometimes I’m so incapable of doing so. Don’t want to disspoint anyone. I hate dissapointing anyone, Especially myself. I have an undenialbly High expectation of almost everything. If you’re my leader, You really gotta be good. So mean of me right? But somehow, I just can’t help it.

Hmmm.. Don’t really like this post. But what that heck, just want to jot down something after awhile. Will anyone be there for me when I fall, when I cry, when all is not going well? I’m so not falling into mood swings this week. No no…..

Pressing On,

Love Letters

*Bleks*.. Yet again, another late post. I just seem to have something everyday. Ok, maybe not seem, I DO have something EVERYDAY. But God's strength is sufficient for me ;). I would rate last week at 8.5/10. It was pack & productive. Don't you just love productive days? Love it! Gives you that exuberant feeling. Well, Vic stayed over on Monday night. Slept at 3 am that night. He arrived in a friends BMW 318 series. Gosh~ And it was a 27 year old women that owned it. MY DREAM GIRL *_*. You know how I like rich, hot mamas ;). Anyway, it was cool. Watched Batman before we went upstairs to have small chats on bed. Yet again I'm always very interested in Victor stories and counsel. I don't know bout you, but I LOVE long thoughtful chats. Something different bout chats with Victor is that I need not find for input, but just listen. Love listening to his philosophy and ideas bout different issues and stuffs. I guess, its just I like having to listen to a big bro. I've already know the feeling having listen to an elder sis which is really cool. Both of them have very different topics of discussion but nonetheless both are as equally interesting :P. Watched and episode of Smallville tonight where Clark had this younger friend, Ryan. Clark and Ryan seriously had this Brother-Brother relationship going on and it was something I'd long for. It was so sincere and loving. It was so emo when they hugged on the Air Baloon before Ryan passed away. Then followed these statements

Me : Awwwww... So nice... I likeeee :(
Sis : Mmm.. You like emo shows ah... You like feeling emo i realised
Me : Ya... I like to cry.... I like that moment when everything is silent and beautifully still...

Maybe thats why I like jazz and emo love movies. But thats just me. And I like it that way. Ahh.. The more I think of it, the more and more I want to feel it. Anyway, back to my topic, so, that night Victor and I chatted till 3am ++ 4am probably. He's one cool bro la I can tell you. Can be so superly spiritual, crazyly whacky and cranko and yet full of maturity in his statements sometimes. One thing I can always know for sure that he'll be by my side whenever I call. Love ya loads Bro!

Its just beautiful la. This year is gonna be great. I can feel it. That night at cell was phenomenal. It was so different. At that moment of singing praises to the Lord, I knew the cell was ready. The cell comprises of different personalities and character but yet, as we come together, all weaknesses seem to disappear. This bunch of people are different. They're gonna change the world. Its always beautiful to see something grow and I've seen this cell grow. I'd never see myself at this spot years before today. I believe its the flow of God's anointing. When I first entered cell Yi-Ki was my most wonderful cell leader. I was only Standard5 then but I had always observed her an dhow she led. She was THE ROLE MODEL. She was the one that grommed me the way I am. It was a cool journey. And people you never imagine rising up, now have rose up to the occasion. You never know when God can raise someone up. As they say, NO ONE is indispensable. God can raise someone up, God is also capable of pulling anyone down. Looking forward to new cell. New people, new environment, new house, new leaders, new Year. Its gonna be cool. Honestly, I have no idea of my cell members right now. Although we are planning but there are still some changes and input from Gwen but well, I'm gonna believe for a change. And change is good ;). It keeps us going on and learning through new changes. Its just how things go. So if we're gonna see a change, face it dear ;).

Don't you just love change? Changes in age? Well, just celebrated Emelia's 17th birthday last night at her beautiful place. Had many laughs there, from how Melissa Pong did her Mr Bean thing~ Gosh, She HAS TO HAVE THE WORST ACTRESS AWARD! But I still love you girl. HAHAHA. Well, Emelia, what I have to say bout her. Emelia and I go way back in 2000. Some of you might know more than others, but let's just leave that there. But through those years, I've found her to be a very easy, care-free girl that life is something to be enjoyed each day. But Emelia is also something always deep in thoughts. I dunno why, but I feel that she is always torn between two. But Emelia, I must tell you, till today I still admire you for who you are. She was always taller than me, but now I ain't too sure bout that. Thanx Emelia for everything, the laughs we had, they shy phone calls then, the morning walks that never came true, the dumb letters I wrote and so on. Aiya, wanna write more la. But i tell you in person only la one day.

Wordy post, but if you ain't reading it, who cares. But anyone, some of you might be wondering why I called this post Love Letters. Well, recently I've started writting Love Letters ;). Interested? Want one too? Too bad, its only for my loved one, Jesus. Lolz. Started a book called "Love Letters to my Lord - By John Lim". Its weird la. But I find thats a cool way to converse with God and express my Love everyday. Its more like a Love Letter-cum-Diary. Gonna jot down my emo request. Lolz.

Alrighty, thats enough. Gonna write more soon k dude and dudez! Love ya'll!!

Yours Truly,

Dearly beloveds

It never meant as important to me as ever. The future holds uncertainties for our life. But yet, I’m going to choose to move forward and press on towards the goal he has placed for me. It got my mind running when I watched those passengers of Flight 93 run down the aisle to stand for what they were made for, to Live. I spend my night with my family watching “The Flight That Fought Back” on Discovery Channel. It wasn’t the usual family night. It was definitely a time of reflection and determination. Passengers of Flight 93 fought back when their plane had been hijacked by terrorist on September 11th 2001. Though memories of the incident vaguely present itself in our minds, but yet it is still fresh in history. Though it may bring back haunting memories but yet, through the short clips that were presented, a light amidst the darkness shone.

They had a purpose, they were determined to live on and fight. Even as I paid close attention to the TV screen even as some whail and cry, thoughts of how thankful I am for the people around to me beat in my heart. One lady’s words were very clear to my ears that said, from then on, every phone call she’d ever got from anyone really strike a chord in her chest that it might just be the last call she’d get from the individual. All this just sums up that life isn’t to be taken lighty. Had a good chat with Victor this afternoon after lunch when he came by my place just to hang around. It was very true what he said about our perspective on life. It’s truly how we view it. Sometimes, certain obstacles and boundaries are just meant to be there to allow us to bump into it. It is because if it wasn’t for that struggle, we’ve would never ended up where we are today. Even as I reflect back on the past, how true a statement it was. If it wasn’t for me falling down each time I fell, I wouldn’t have got up and learn that lesson.

They died as heroes. And that’s what I want to live for, to leave a legacy of faith and strongwill. I want to be different. I want my life to be counted in for His Kingdom, knowing I’ve impacted someone’s life out there. Its time I got up and made a difference. But well, I’m gonna start with the small steps now. Wanna go write a sappy, moody like Life song now. Just humming a tune of new life.

Reflecting,

Heaven will never ever be the same...

Tell me have you heard the story
That took place not long ago
Bout an angel up in heaven
They say You up and ran away from home

Word is You had unfinished business
So back on earth You had to flea
Well you know I'm so elated
Because You're right here next to me

And when God woke up that morning
And he called out her name
And when You did not answer
Heaven will never ever ever be the same

Always dreamed that it would happen
I just didn't know exactly where
All my life I'd been waiting for something amazing
Said it took a while but now I know
So tell me can I get a witness
If you believe in miracles
And the proof I have is living
And my life will never ever be
And your life don't have to be the...

At times it seems we take for granted
How precious life can be
Just hold on and I'm sure you'll understand it
Bringing into this world
A precious miracle...
And when I woke up that morning
Said where has my angel had gone
And when You didn't answer
Heaven will never ever ever be

Its amazing how God places people in our life. Its amazing how He places angels in our lives to guide us through certain seasons of change, trials and tribulations. This post is my expression of thanks to a certain angel that had stepped into my life. No words by far can express my gratitude and thanks for your life. You have certainly pull me out from the mud, clean my wounds and carried my on your shoulders. You were there when no one was there, You were there when all was dark. Its amazing how life holds challenges and obstacles that we're specificly made for each individual. Though sometimes we look and imagine our bigger picture as dark, God has always planned it for good. He had always meant it for good. And I believe He always has a plan for us, a plan to bring us to greater heights and levels of maturity each step of our life. Through the tides of time, You'fe stood by me and made sure I grew to be a strong young man. And today you help me build my house on solid rock. That no wave or storm may tear down the walls that You've help me build in trusting God. It ain't easy to do. Man can give all the necessary advice, support and guidance. But at the end of the road, You're gonna be there all alone. And if it was merely Me alone out there, I guess I'd be carried and swept away by the winds. But You helped me realise to put my trust in God alone and Him alone I shall trust. It has always been comforting to know that I might just have that someone to care for me when I needed that one to trust and lean on when all fails. Though sometimes I took for grantted how precious You've had meant to me, I want to believe in You each time I fail.

But all this only began when I've finally come to realise to accept my past. I have to admit that in my past I've done horrible, horrible and i mean really horrible stuff. But only through self acceptance and forgiveness have I come to known of His love once again. The past is to thank for, and there it shall stay. Behind me. Looking at it now, somehow no more sense of regret or remorse build in me. Letting go of what belongs behind relieves tension and gives a sense of relieve. My life has been filled with so many ups and downs. Well, EVERY life is filled with ups and downs that we are ought to overcome. I'm thankful for the lessons that have come by each day. So am I thankful for the different people he places in my life each step. People that has really held me by the arm to pull me out. People that has kept walking with me even when I was turning back. Truly, life would be meaningless without the latter. No doubt, appreciating my past has brought me where I am today. Each stepping stone has truly brought me to newer heights and levels in my walk with God. It is a never ending walk till we reach eternity with Him.

I'm glad that through the years I've been moving on. Looking back now brings back memories that are vaguely clear. It sparked when Victor came back and suddenly brought memories along. I really thank God I stood up to the challenge to get out of the darkness and rise up to his Glory. It was a tough one when I had no one to hold on to. There was a period of time when I was so confused and lonely and occasionally gave up but yet somehow still got hold of my the plans and hopes that God had for me. Its truly amazing how things unfold each day. That each time we open our eyes, decisions are made and how things just place themselves each step of the day. The mental development of humans is such a mystery and intriguing to me. Its wonderful how to see how one develops and grows to be the person God has meant that person to be. Through the tide of time, we sometimes grow to be more defensive and some even build walls of distance to create defense to be hurt. But yet, sometimes just coming transparent and true to God is the way to really come to realise that His ways are always higher than our ways. Truly, God is marvelous.

Confusing post, but I just had to write my thoughts down. Feel so much lighter now. Well, now back to my "outward-self" John. Today was the first time of school and it spelt B-O-R-I-N-G. The teachers had the nerves not to come in and teach. I'm cying to learn. Well, but Malaysians will always be Malaysians. Prejudice! Hahahaha. But anyway, I was so dissapointed to find out that my class had a change of Class teacher. Pn. Tan went over to the afternoon session. I really liked her teaching and she was no doubt one of the best teachers. Gonna miss her dearly. Still remembered the incident in which we met her at Pasar Malam and her son had called Jo Lin aunty. Well, today we spend the whole morning just yacking on corny topics. I also had the opportunity to tell Jo Lin she has backslided. Hahaha. But all was good. Good time of bonding. Came home to lunch and soon after my first ever Vocal lessons with Liang Tan. Got to know him for some time now in church. Liang has appeared on Hitz.Tv and Hitz.Fm. He'd just released his debut album "8oz of Soul". Do check him out sometime ;). It was rather akward but I guess it'll all be well soon enough. Had learn quite a bit on singing technics and so on. Would I ever be a singer you ask? Well, to put it this way, if God opens the door, so be it. But if no doors are open, so be it. But truly, I guess I've the privilege of being blessed with such a talent and I'm thankful for it. Gonna use it wisely.

Life is back to its schedule. I have at least something EVERYDAY. Thats sad. I shall not post my daily schedule here for certain purposes but all is good. I'd rather have a full schedule than an empty one fearful of falling for sloppyness if I was too free. But well, Life goes on. Alrighty, taking off now. Take care of yourself people. Love ya'll!
