China Boy is back ;) From Beijing and Shanghai that is~

Both fabulous hotels. EXTREMELY impressive. Beijing's Millennium had free internet access on their LCD TV, the toilet was breathtaking, I was in the bathtub with my book enjoying the view of Beijing. Shanghai's Millennium was equally perfect. I had the chance of flying with one of my Indian Batchgirls frmo Dehli.
Sabrina was in Shanghait too but she was in Sheraton, we met up and had a buffet Dim Sum lunchy! Woo.. Got off to the main Shanghai station to get Emily a MINI-IPHONE. Yup, you heard me right, MINI IPHONE. Hahaha.. Of course China Made! And therefore, its fake. But it was only SGD100. The pictures don't really translate the size, but it is actually small. Quite like the real iphone, but its a fake, so you can't expect the same performance :)
Will be in S'pore for some time now before my Threat and Error Management and the Perth before I head to HONG KONG for a holiday!!! WOoooOoOoOoOOOooooO!! Funnesss~!

Gonna leave things as it is for now. Gonna be back soon :) Till then, wait for me. OH! Btw, you must check this YouTube video of these Korean group. The song is darn catchy. YouTube - Nobody by Wonder Girls :) Enjoy it! :P

Gd' Day Mates!

Hahaha. Brissy was just alright. Had fantastic set of crew :) Got my March roster when I was in Brisbane. I will behaving my annual leave so didn't expect much flights. Only had Perth and Dubai-Istanbul :) I will be going for 2 courses too. I guess the influx of crew is setting in. Though my other batchies are just flying everywhere! Emily finally has Paris and so did Kester, Lynn is going to Amsterdam AGAIN~ Glenn is going to Rome, my gosh! Well, I guess I should be satisfied with my Istanbul :) I will. I will. Will I? >.<>

I just have to let this out. Do you know how lonely it can feel sometimes when you're in a foreign land in your hotel room, in the silence..... Just lying in bed, with your eyes wide shut. Every creek is audible to your ears as you wrap yourself in the warm bed. It drives me crazy when I just can't get my mind to stop running and dwell on the emptiness in my bare room. I guess we all go through a phase of sheer longing and fear. I really need something to look forward to. I really need someone to come back to. All I want, is just someone to greet me when I come back from flight :( really. It gets tiring. Steping out from the gate, to walk alone, into the cab, up the lift, into my room, and onto my bed. And there silence greets me again. I don't want to be lonely anymore :(

The quest for love and belonging shall be a journey with no end :) To you, I surrender.

Guten Tag!
Back from Zurich for the 3rd time now. The Swiss passengers have been treating me just fine. Enjoyed my stay in Swizterland for the 3rd time now and wishing it could be Rome, Amsterdam, Frankfurt or even London. Roster will be out in a day or two from now. Who knows, I might even be going to San Francisco this time since I've been going to the States quite often now.

Oh well, Life's been quite slow paced surprisingly. On another note, I had just got back from a Korean Course which my beloved company provides. So, now I can not only say Guten Tag, Bonjour, Konnichiwa, but I can also say, Anyong Haseyo! :P Hehehehe....Shiok!
I'm looking into taking Italian soon too and maybe some Psychology course - "Helping Others Help Themselves". Hahahaha!! Who knows, I might be attending the course to learn just to help myself first before I can help others :P I'm just so totally trying to attend courses to equip myself better for the future on my off days. Whats a bored lonely boy to do in a foreign land but to learn :) Hahahaha...
I've been reading a certain book by a certain local author recently and just can't get my hands off it. Been so addicted to the truth that he deplicts in his stories. Oh well, gonna sink myself in American Idol now! WOOOOO... though I've SOOO not been following at all :( i barely know any good ones yet.. sigh... Any suggestions? Need my yearly dosage of American Idol.. hehe.. Take care people! Will report as soon as possible once I get my roster! Wooo!!

Happy Belated Birthday to myself :P

A simple night with the best friends anyone can have. A few rounds of blackjack, mahjong and drinks, that was it :) Of course we had more makan the following day at the beach. Always my favourite place in Singapore, East Coast Park, where the Sun and Sexy meet.

I was mad to rent a car to drive back to KL just for the thrill and excitement. Sped all the way from Singapore to KL and reached my home in 2 and a half hours. I'm sooo waiting for my speeding ticket. So fun to flash people away while singing to my favourite tunes alone in the car :P Hahahaha. I will definity do it again soon. Gonna bring back an entourage the next time ;)

Rushed to the airport tonight to pass my cabin bag to a friend. Suddenly sms "John, come to airport now, bring your cabin bag, my cabin bag spoil". Immediately rushed to pass him my cabin bag. Now I'm stuck. Got flight tmr but I don't have my cabin bag. I have his spoilt cabin bag. A sacrifice of a friend. I'll always run for a friend :) I'd remember the last time Emily called me at the last minute to rush to the airport for her too. That was another crazy one. But I guess at the end of the day, its all worth it because all I expect is the same in return when I'm in need. Just recently because of dead Chinese New Year, I was very thankful to the friends that "adopted" me in their family for reunion dinner and steamboat dinner. Lynn even demanded me to be over at her place to accompany me when I was lonely. I guess it all comes hand in hand. A friend in need, is a friend indeed. Truly.

Nothing special to bring up lately, other than a few insecurities, but n
evertheless, I'm gonna leave you with some pictures of another steamboat dinner I had. Till then, I can't wait to gamble MOREEEEEEE.. hahah!! the only time of the year

to gamble away! :P Happy Chinese New Year People!

My heart is bleeding of loneliness on this auspicious time of the year. GOSH! Not another "celebration" alone! My heart just cannot take it! First, Christmas, New Year's I got to "run away" to KL, and now, Chinese New Year! Its OFFICIAL, I am NOT EVER spending any festive seasons in Singapore. Gonna so totally give away my off days to whosoever that needs to so much more than I do. Its just so tiring to call people out knowing you'll be turned down because obviously they have family here and I don't! I don't blame them of course! But it just gets lonely, thats all, no big deal (yeah right, no big deal!). I'm just a sucker for loneliness.

Not another full-of-emo-shit post. Sigh. But what fun would it be if I didn't have the downs and the ups in my whole Singapore-steward escapade. To make things w
orst, I did get to change my India flight away, BUT I didn't get to change my off days again to fly off. So therefore, I am stuck here in Singapore in the midst of
my pathetic 6 turnarounds and a standby. Not make things worst, I had to top the guy up (In Crew terms = give him some green). Sigh. Already la its not the off I want, summo have to give ka-ching. Oh well, what is don
e and agreed is DONE and AGREED.

On a lighter note, my beloved batchmates held an early birthday celebration for me (how sweet). It was really nice of them to surprise me with the whole "singing" thing and B-E-A-U-tiful gift which only working friends can so totally afford. So Thankful for them. I'll let the speaking pictures talk.
This was the soooo totally failed modeling pic.. hahahahhaha... Ah, looking at the pics at least puts a smile on my face. Well, I'll survive the night! Hahaha!

Ok now, not gonna let it sink in on me. Gonna go downstairs and probably take the advice of the lovely miss-D and rent Titanic and finally watch it for the first time in my life. Hahaha! I hope laziness doesn't kick in instead!.. Toodles.. Next on roster, STANDBY, Saigon, KL, Jakarta... Urgh~

Greetings! I'm finally back from my trip to Moscow and Houston, Texas again. It was amazing 10 days I must say. Flew with a fantastic set of crew. So many different characters. So many different interesting and wonderful characters. I had a blast during these 10 days and didn't even drag the whole journey. Learnt so much from each of them. It was snowing heavily in Moscow. It was to a point that it was -14 degrees! Yes! -14! No joke man. Don't know why we still decided to go out. Mad. Haha! But we had so much fun everytime. When we got to Houston, we had the opportunity to visit the largest church there, LAKEWOOD CHURCH where Lakewood band comes from and where Joel Olsteen is and where Israel Hougton is from :) Their church building could sit a massive 20,000 people! Worship was as close as you can get to Heaven's. Hahaha! What a way to descrieb their worship. It was heavenly! :P There were about 7 of us that attended church that morning including Samantha Ang which I met up in Houston! Yes! Samantha Samantha! :P She didn't change much, except for the fact she drives a cool Honda Accord ;P Thanx for the rides Sam! Really appreciate you bringing us around and to that nature park. So sweet of you :P and thanx for Hand-cuffing me too :P Hahahahahaha!

Went shopping again to the Factory Outlet Mall and Yes, I bought Coach again from mummy :P States is still probably the best place to shop. Cheap Sale going on now, probably to boost the economy? Oh well... Headed back to Moscow on our last leg. Went over to some cathedral in Moscow this time. Normal la all these Orthodox churches.
Nothing much to describe about it though it was fascinating to the eyes. Then it was already time to bid goodbye to my crew. I've never met any sets of crew like this one. All the way from the top of the list to the bottom, everyone was simply indescribable. At the end of the flight, we were all giving hugs to each other. Literally! HUGS! Haha.. can you imagine? Usually we just thank each other verbally "thank you for the flight" and thats it, you leave through imigration and bye bye. But this was different. We all hugged each other goodbye. It was a sad one, but I'm really thankful to God for bringing them my way.

Just observing them brought delight to my soul. Though me so much in terms of character. Its people like them that we need on every flight, in this industry and in the world :)
I'm counting down till the days I leave for the states myself.

You know, at one point, seing all of you leave one by one to study made me envious. I was actually sad at one point, asking myself, what am I doing with my life? I was sad to see my friends leave to study overseas and there I am stuck here. But it was sooo silly of me saying that. I've been given the opportunity of a lifetime to travel the world for free, earn loads of money at the same time and have fun too! I don't know what got into me, but I guess it was just the boy in me that wanted to have the same things my friends had too. So many of you, to London, to the States, to Australia, to Ireland and even to Korea! But I'm thankful for my own experience! My own undefined untraditional way of life. After all, I'll be going to New York come Fall of 2010! I can't wait for the moment I actually stand on the grounds of my University then. I wait for the day to come :) Till then, I should SOOO learn to be thankful for all the opportunity that has come my way. I was just filled with jealousy at the moment and was so blinded by it. I just couldnt see the HUGE blessing right infront of my eyes. I can't imagine how many envy the lifestyle I am having right now. I'm sorry.

On another note, I'm back in KL. And yes, I just had a really confusing night. Probably I was just tired from all the travelling and tiem zones, but I was just really zoned out inspite of all the action happening. I just couldn't get myself to have the fun I was suppose to have. Emo-ness came back. Seing what I was seing made me, very, disturbed. I really couldn't put a finger to what I was feeling, but it wasn't anything good. Jo Weng could see through me, but I was just persistent to deny. I'm sorry :( But I know I just wasn't in the right frame of mind. I felt like just giving "it" up at that moment. I was just so tired of trying anymore. Dunno la. Confusing night. But I'm glad its almost over as I sit and type here in the wee hours of the morning. I guess I have alot of discovering to do. Really. I just don't know who I am anymore, or what I want or even where am I even heading! I just hope it all ends well and right. I'm just so scared to losing it all one day. Oh well, till then I'm gonna enjoy each day at a time and STOP worrrying about worthless shit.

Gosh, I just realised I will be doing 6 turnarounds in a row if I change my Ahmedabad flight away. After this, Penang turn, Jakarta turn, Manila turn, Saigon turn, KL turn and then Jakarta turn again! Can you imagine?! But that means I will be in Singapore for awhile. Don't know if thats good news. I guess its still better than spending my 20th birthday in India. Or should I? Hmmmmmmm Shit! I'm still confused at this hour!

No words needed for God's gift to mankind...

;) Woo! Missed his concert the last time here in Singapore when I was in Moscow and now, I'm leaving for Moscow to Houston again later tonight. Sigh. Gone for a good long 10 days. Sigh. Feeling the loneliness LeeHom feels in his hotel room too. Oh well, I'll pull through.
Besides that, I think the pics from Dubai and Auckland are not worth posting, so therefore, I shall leave it as it is until I have really good pictures to share with you guys.

There has to be much more than this. This year has to have a goal. I need to have an objective and an aim to work towards to. I can't and won't let this year pass me by to be left empty and lost. Hmm..

Pray with me my dear. Guide me as I take steps to the unknown and unexplored. I really want to be someone, and really do something, for a cause. I've always knew I'd be so much more than I can and every step and decision I make today is just bringing me closer to my dream. I wish.. I really do wish...

I need to listen to the rhythm of my heart and the pouring rain again....... Let me hear your voice once again..... Please.....

In come the New, Out goes the Old...

I've not been sharing much pictures these days because there aren't any pictures worth sharing. Yes, Dubai was disappointing and Auckland was pretty lonely, but pretty. Gosh. Been rather moody since Auckland. Maybe because I've been away Singapore for too long. Don't know how I'll survive 10 days away when I leave for Moscow-Houston again. But I'll survive. With that, I leave you with a new year's picture ;) These guys have pretty amazing futures ahead of them :) Trust me.

It wasn't any bad after all.

Woke up to a rainy morning before me and beloved sis headed to church for their Christmas service. Always feels refreshing to go to church and hear Pastor Kong Hee. Was very much entertained by the play before we headed off to the airport for a sumptious lunch. Got back to rest before I headed out for dinner with lovely Shittal and her housemates and a whole lot of guests. All the meals were prepared by a steward that came by to cook pasta, mee soto, roasted chicken, and small finger foods. Very much a Malaysian "Air Crew" gathering kinda thing. Had good laughs before I left.

Leaving for an early flight tomorrow to Manila. Was suppose to join batchmates for Kareoke tonight but I called out because of an early flight out. Sigh. Was all excited to join them this time because I had all my Chinese Pin Yin copied and pasted onto Microsoft Word to be printed and sang in the room. Seriously. The only Chinese songs I ever sing in Kareoke is Lee Hom's Forever Love and Kiss Goodbye which I can 75% remember by heart. Now, I can sing a whole load more of Lee Hom's songs when I go K. 16 to be specific ;) Hahahaha! I always knew the tunes, but was just illeterate when it came to chinese. Sigh. What kind of Chinese am I?

I guess Christmas is about Love, and giving and sharing the Joy. Its always a different experience being away from home and celebrating it away from your home country. I believe students and working people overseas can testify to that. It is when friends really come together to be with each other and really appreciate the warmth and company. I have to conclude that this year's Christmas is definitely not the best, but the most unique and different (=

Till then, enjoy the last few days of the Year while I head off to Manila and then Dubai. Will try to post something up to sum the whole year before the New Years. And I still have NOT decided to come back for New Years or not. Sigh.

Sweet jingles play by the streets,
Sweet Lovers, with their palms intertwined, struting their way down Orchard,
Sweet decorations hang by the buildings and trees, with colourful lights and flashes,
Sweet cheesecakes fill the bakeries, with bright red cheeries on the top,
Sweet tunes fill the air, as the festive season blows with the wind.

It is the second Christmas now, away from Home. My first Christmas away was in Japan in Dec 2006. But that was very different. That Christmas was spent with "Family" too. This year, is a Family Dry Christmas. It is truly VERY different. Being away from family and friends, now I know how it truly feels to be alone on a festive season. Though I have my sister around with me, but its definitely different. Not being together together, you know, with every component of the family together.

Spend the eve in, but I'm sure to be out tomorrow. I'm gonna make the most of my Christmas. Got a Church Christmas Production tomorrow morning, then gonna hang out in the city in the afternoon and then dinner with Shitaljit, Ping, Charlene, Emily and her new found boyfriend and all their housemates as well. Its a Malaysian Steamboat dinner kinda thing. Sweet :)

Nobody wants to be lonely on Christmas or New Years, EVER! Hahaha. And I'm gonna make sure of that for myself for the coming year ahead. Till then, I've got Dubai for my last flight of the Year till I smell Auckland on the 2nd of January. Till then, adios my fellow readers! Its amazing how time flies. Before I know it, I'm leavin the airlines already.

How'd I wish....

Yup, wishes. Did you ever looked into the blue skies and wished? Wished that your dreams may come true, wished that you'd never felt the way you did, wished things were better, wished life gave you a second chance, wished you had it all.

Tonight, I sat in the car, and wished. Drove along the LDP and wished. Wished I'd knew you in different conditions, wished I met you earlier, wished things weren't the way as it is, wished my dreams would come true.

Meeting you was enlightening. Yes. I didn't regret a bit coming back this time, though it was such a last minute decision. I booked my ticket the night before I flew back to KL and it was one of the best decisions I made in my life. Hands down.

But I guess life has all its divine mysterious plans planned out for us. Things weren't just meant to be. Well at least deep down inside I know I met an Angel.

You gave me strength again. You gave me the spirit to live again. Not that I didn't have any spunk, but you lit that spark. You showed me light again, that there was Hope. I guess it all really boils down to choosing Happiness. Someone once said that, "Happiness belongs to those who choose it, to those that Choose Happiness" and I want to see that in You. In Me, In us if I can say, but I guess not. But I know we'd live great separate lives.

I'm back to square one again. Yup, here I am again, sinking in my head. But its a good thing. I'm taking things differently this time. I'm smiling through this, knowing I'll have you as my friend for the rest of my life. How privileged I am.

In a few more hours from now, I'll board my plane back to my little island and then off to Perth in another few more hours. Life begins again, but this time with Hope.

On another note, my lovely partner in crime also brought up a very good topic of discussion. Here's the question. Do I want COMPANIONSHIP or a RELATIONSHIP? Yes, ask yourself that, do you just need a companion, someone there for you, or do you really need a relationship?

It woke my restless mind up. She asked me, do I really need a relationship? Do I really need someone to Love? Do I really need to BE with someone? Or do I just NEED someone? I was dumbfound. I always thought it was human nature to WANT a partner, to WANT to be with someone, to WANT to find that special someone. She denied it totally. She assured me that she's ever had that longing, not even in high school. Yes, she had crushes and such but she never had the DESIRE or LONGING to BE with someone all the time. But I had. I always wanted someone, someone to express my Love to, someone to reach out to, someone to pour my "riches" materially and non-materially. I mean, if you have come to know me by now, I'm actually pretty generous to the people I love, seriously. I don't mind splurging to ones that are close me. I mean, if I have the means, why not? Sharing Love IS still Love isn't it? I'm not trying to BUY love or sort, but I'm just expressing my Love.

Anyway, back to companionship and relationship. You see, do I actually need a relationship or is all I want is just Companionship? That's why it got me thinking. Do I really need it all?

I really don't know how I am gonna handle all these for the next few months, but at least I know I've got a Friend in You.

On another note, I don't know why I don't feel the Christmas Spirit this year? Maybe because I'm working. Sigh :(

Here comes Christmas!

Though I won't be flying on Christmas day, I am still very excited about this year's Christmas. It'll be the 2nd Christmas not spent in Malaysia apart from the last one in Japan.

Having a small gift exchange party here and I'll be popping by Penang for a night to celebrate my housemate's birthday. Still can't decide if I should spend New Years here in Singapore or KL. I'll be coming back from Dubai on the 30th, then I'll be free till the 2nd. Hmmm....

Oh well, gonna take off now. Just drop ya a few pics of Zurich City. My second time in Switzerland already. Coldddd.. Brrr.. Nights!

Just a quick update here before I take rest for my flight to Zurich tomorrow.

Had a blast in Paris again. Went for more sightseing and SHOPPING this time ;) Muahaha. REAL shopping, in PARIS.. hahaha..

Got back from KL and headed straight to Swissohotel in Raffles City to celebrate beloved Lynn's birthday. They surprised her in the Fantastic hotel room. Spent the night there playing Taboo and having a great time.

Had a small dinner at home tonight. Cooked with my housemate Emily ;) Guess which dish I cooked? Hehehe. Hint: I cooked 2 of them :D *bangga*.. =.="" HAHAHAHAH..
Watched Quarantine with the rest after dinner and I DID NOT have a good time because the movie sucked so bad. Gosh, Don't even bother catching it. Urgh. Hahahaha

Thank God I got called up for Zurich tomorrow or else I'll just die at home on my 11 day standby. At least I'll earn something. Its snowing now in Zurich. The last time I checked the weather, it was -1 degrees. Time to put on my "pom-pom-puffed-up" winter jacket again ;) Hope the newbies on the flight would have some plan to sight see, or I'll just end up shopping in Zurich. Swiss Francs to the Singapore dollar isn't much difference anymore. Even the Euro went down. I love the Singapore Dollar. Its even stronger than the Aussie Dollar. And I multiply money like how Jesus multiplied the fish and bread if I convert back to the Malaysian Ringgit. Wahaha. Shit. I better get back down to earth.

Alrighty. Enjoy the pics while I cuddle myself up in my warm blanky in Zurich. Toodles ;) Gonna try to pick up some German while I'm there :)
